Miami Art Deco at The Noelle

Loren & Mason’s wedding was the dream for a planner like myself. They came to me with a general idea for a theme, “Miami Art Deco,” and said “take it from here.” I love the opportunity to use my creativity to create a custom design for clients.

As is common with many of my planning clients, this couple did not live in Nashville, so we planned most of the wedding virtually. They took a trip from New York to Nashville where we had a blast on a tour of the venue, attending catering and bakery tastings, and putting together a sample table at the rental facility. Planning a small planning getaway trip like this allows me to spend time with a couple and truly get to know them, and it’s one of my favorite parts of the planning process.

Tastings at the Noelle in Nashville are so much fun!

In the end we went with subtle gold linens and emerald green velvet table runners, accented with tropical flowers. I have to say, emerald green is my absolute favorite color right now, so I was pretty thrilled with the choice. Under each place setting is a monstera leaf, which guests marveled at all night.

This Miami Art Deco theme included glittery gold tablecloths with velvet emerald green runners and napkins and tropical flower centerpieces.

The art deco part of the theme went perfectly with their venue, The Noelle in downtown Nashville. Our photographer, Jackie with Aspen & Elm Co, captured these amazing shots at the Noelle’s bar, and this bridal party looks like they just stepped out of Vogue in the 1920s.

Most. Epic. Bridal. Party. Ever.

Jackie was also able to get creative with some fun and romantic shots around the venue:

While I am a Certified Wedding Planner, I often serve as the florist for many of my weddings. For this wedding I had the pleasure of decorating this circle arch from Southern Events with colorful tropical flowers. The design includes huge monstera leaves, palms, orchids, fresh ginger blooms, and colorful anthurium blossoms.

Tropical flowers for this ceremony backdrop included monstera & palm leaves, ginger flowers, anthurium, orchids, and birds of paradise.

The cake from Baked In Nashville was a true delight, topped off with these bride and groom rubber duckie cake toppers, given to Loren by a loving relative.

Finally, the couple kicked off the dancing with a choreographed first dance. I have to say, I was seriously impressed. They have some mad dancing skills!

The ballroom at The Noelle is great for dancing!

Planning & flowers by Kelsey Gray Events

Kelsey is the best wedding planner and we could not recommend her enough! She is thoughtful, organized, and knowledgable. She made our vision come to life and the wedding day was completely seamless. In addition, we hired her as our florist and she knocked that out of the park as well. — L&M
