Floral Design Work Real Weddings

Featured Real Wedding: Peachy Keen on the Details at Clementine Hall

This past fall I had the great honor of working a wedding at The Clementine during their first wedding season. With all of the exposed brick and concrete and the giant organ, this is truly a unique Nashville venue.

Bride Kelli did most of the planning herself, and she did an amazing job! I just couldn’t believe all the details in her work. She spent so many hours hand-dying these cloth napkins. And guests loved her Instagram-worthy photo booth.

Hand-dyed napkins, copper flatware, loose greenery, and honey-jar favors were all carefully-selected details by Kelli.

I came in to coordinate and provide floral design, and I loved the peach and blue color palette. For bouquets we went with soft peaches and creams, and those David Austin Peach Juliet garden roses are one of my absolute favorites. Just check out how awesome that bridal party looks!

Bouquet includes David Austin Peach Juliet garden roses, peach spray roses, ranunculus, and seeded eucalyptus at its’ finest!

Second only to the flowers, one of my favorite parts of a wedding is the cake. And Oh Crumbs Bakery never disappoints when it comes to remarkable wedding cakes. Kelli had incorporated touches of copper in the flatware and the photo booth, and Oh Crumbs Bakery somehow managed to get it on the cake, too. Some pretty cool decorating techniques went into this design, and guests were impressed! This dessert table emptied faster than I’ve ever seen!

The Clementine provides some interesting places for photos, and I believe Rachel from Brass Penny Photography felt truly inspired here. These window shots are incredible, but my absolute favorites are the amazing smoke bomb shots in the courtyard.

“Kelsey did a great job. She spent a lot of time with us before the wedding and on the wedding day itself. I felt like she was on top of it and knew all the details… I probably wouldn’t have hired a coordinator if my venue hadn’t required one, but when the wedding day came around, I realized that it would have been really difficult to pull off without one. I’m so glad we had Kelsey and would recommend her!” – Bride Kelli on The Knot

I’m sending a very special thank you to Kelli & Elliot for allowing me to take part in this beautiful event. And thank you to Brass Penny Photography for use of your gorgeous photos. I highly, highly, highly recommend Rachel if you are looking for a photographer for your own wedding.
