Bridget and Nathan’s Cheekwood Estate and Gardens Wedding was the culmination of well-intentioned planning and delicate design choices.
Built in the early 1930s and stretching across 55 acres of lush botanical gardens, Cheekwood Estate was once home to the Cheek family. The estate home now serves as an exclusive-use wedding venue in Nashville. Offering couples planning a wedding on its grounds a day filled with sophistication, enchanting gardens, and expansive panoramic views.
The historic mansion estate features verdant greenery and lavish blooms, with several accessible locations to create a storied wedding photography experience in a bucolic setting.
Additionally, the venue offers exclusive-use to its couples, allowing them to plan a wedding day unencumbered by the outside world. Couples and their guests enjoy a fully immersive experience in each other’s presence, exploring the idyllic grounds of the venue.

Cheekwood Estate and Gardens Wedding With Thoughtful Details
At the very start of their Cheekwood Estate wedding day, Bridget and Nathan opted for intimate moments, both with each other and the members of their wedding party. Bridget shared a first look with the members of her bridal party at the Wisteria Arbor, located along the venue’s west wing. This outdoor space features a stone fountain and directly overlooks the reflection pool. The true beauty of the arbor is in its surroundings, with twisted vines and abundant flora concealing the space, offering a hidden garden ambience. A seemingly fitting space for her wedding party to lay eyes on her chic wedding gown.
In the same ethereal location, Bridget and Nathan sat against the stone balustrade and exchanged private vows with each other. Far from the eyes of their guests, their vows to love one another for all of their days, interspersed with deeply personal anecdotes, brought them closer to joining in marriage.
Cheekwood Estate and Gardens presents the opportunity to host an outdoor wedding ceremony, nestled among the bucolic gardens. However, an uenxpected rain fall on Bridget and Nathan’s wedding day moved their wedding ceremony indoors, where they could recite their vows fully protected from the elements.
Bridget was an effervescent bride, so full of joy. When the rain and, later, the subsequent tornado warnings began, she was completely unflappable. Not to be deterred by the change in weather, the tone and atmosphere of Bridget and Nathan’s day were just as delightful as the love they share.
Together with their guests, Bridget and Nathan enjoyed a candlelight dinner accented by soft floral arrangements, a few spins on the dance floor, and an altogether memorable evening as a newly married couple.
