For Molly & Ryan’s destination Nashville wedding we went with a theme of Pacific Northwest meets wooded fairyland.
Ceremony & reception were held at Acme Feed & Seed in downtown Nashville. For the ceremony backdrop, we created this floral installation climbing up the walls and windows.
I had so much fun working with Molly and her family to put together a sample table at the rental warehouse. Choosing the rentals is always one of the highlights of the planning process for brides because they finally get to see their ideas take shape. We kept colors in shades of blues and greens to fit the theme, with wood farmhouse tables, blue table runners, silver napkins, and a mix of blue glassware from Music City Tents & Events rentals.
For the “woodland fairyland” part of the theme, we had Nashville Lighting & Production hang these gorgeous curtain lights throughout the room, and I brought in greenery garlands for the tables. Per Molly’s request, this wedding was 100% floral-foam free, and all flowers were composted after the event.
While I set up the room, Molly & Ryan traveled around the city for photos. Since their wedding was downtown, there weren’t able to take the woodsy photos that they wanted on site, so we started with photos at Percy Warner park.
From there, they moved on to photos downtown. The rooftop at Acme Feed & Seed makes for perfect downtown photos!
Then we just had to take some photos on their gorgeous blue couch, rented from Music City.
At the reception, Molly requested that we go all-out for the sweetheart table, so we created this huge garland spilling off the table and accented with blue and white flowers.
As the final touch, Baked In Nashville provided this blue and white cake. The bride and groom had so much fun smashing cake with each other. There was blue icing everywhere, but thankfully not on the dress.
