Blush weddings have been on-trend for the past several years, with no sign of going out of style anytime soon. Personally, I am a huge fan of colorful weddings, so I was so thrilled to see this twist on the trend with varying shades of pink and blush, metallic rose gold, and glittery blush accents.
Now I can’t take credit for the full design on this one, as I did not plan Agatha & Austin’s wedding. My role for this event was the flowers, which is what I will highlight today.
The Barn at Sycamore Farms is one of Franklin and Nashville’s most popular wedding venues for it’s large capacity, comfortable bride and groom spaces, and gorgeous property. When guests arrive for the ceremony, they first cross this gorgeous bridge to get to the island in the middle of the venue’s pond. We accented the bridge with these large gold urns on top of the pillars as well as several pieces attached to the rail of the bridge itself:
The island itself contains this massive 10-ft tall ceremony arbor. Southern Sky provided the draping while I added these two pink and white corner pieces of heavy flowers and light greenery.
Bride Agatha tied in the shimmer and glitter with these beautiful bridesmaid dresses, and blush and white florals completed the look.
Inside the barn, reception tables alternated between wooden lanterns and traditional centerpieces in pink compote vases. Seriously, these are the cutest vases ever and one of my favorite vessels in my vase collection.
Flowers for this wedding included coral charm peonies, blush garden roses, white ranunculus, roses in various sizes and shades of blush and white, and eucalyptus and dusty miller greenery.
And it was all topped off with a dramatic head table:
It was an honor to work on Agatha & Austin’s wedding and to work at one of my most-requested venues, the Barn at Sycamore Farms.
