Colorful Wedding Flowers for a Nashville Wedding at The Venue at Birchwood

Nashville wedding flowers, replete with a dose of delicate color, brought together Hank & Mary’s wedding at The Venue at Birchwood. Their wedding flowers were fresh and long-lasting, with a variety of cohesive arrangements that created a joyous and elevated atmosphere at their event.

Colorful Nashville Wedding Flowers

One unique aspect of Hank & Mary’s wedding at The Venue at Birchwood was locally grown Tennessee wedding flowers. Flowers grown locally are a wonderful opportunity to support farmers. But, using flowers for your wedding that are not imported also cuts down on transport time. This provides you with fresh, long-lasting bouquets and arrangements.

With every season, a new crop of florals springs from the earth. Thus, giving us the ability to design weddings in a way that is both sustainable and influenced by the natural ebb and flow of the season.

For Hank and Mary, their floral design choices included touchpoints that began in the bridal suite and continued throughout the night. Creating a cohesive wedding day design with florals is one that brings together every celebratory element of a wedding. No matter how grand or small.

Cohesive Floral Design Choices from Start to Finish

At the very start of the day, while Hank and Mary were applying the finishing touches to their wedding day attire, loose florals were provided to their photographer. This allowed the capture of detailed images, including the couple’s wedding invitation suite and Mary’s bridal jewelry. In a nearby getting-ready suite, Hank and his groomsmen fastened boutonnieres to their lapels in preparation for the ceremony.

Bouquets of voluminous, brilliantly colored wedding flowers filled the hands of Mary’s bridesmaids as they walked down the aisle, with tall arrangements accenting the pews. But it was Mary’s sweet flower girl who stole the show. Just before Mary arrived, she walked down the aisle sprinkling white flower petals in anticipation of the bride.

Upon Mary’s arrival, the ceremony began, and at the altar where they were joined in marriage, Hank & Mary’s wedding arbor (a wooden cross honoring their faith) featured a personalized arrangement, bringing together their ceremony space.

Their reception space at The Venue at Birchwood was the final touch point that tied together Hank and Mary’s whimsical wedding. Once guests arrived at their seats, low-profile arrangements sat at each of the family-style tables, allowing for a night of conversation and connection surrounded by curated design choices.

Lastly, fresh flowers were selected as an embellishment for the wedding cake. Fresh flowers that will be used on edible items must be untreated and food safe, or prepared with food-safe barriers. If you plan on adorning your wedding cake with florals, work with a wedding florist in Nashville to source non-toxic blooms that will be safe for you & your guests.
