Timeless Spring Garden Wedding at CJ’s Off the Square

Some brides have a fear of color in their wedding, as they worry that the wedding won’t be timeless. But I’ll say it over and over again, classic, timeless weddings can have color, too! This simple blue and white design is one that no one will ever regret, even fifty years from now.

Jaclyn selected this gorgeous light blue and white color palette, accented by classic prints in her dress, invitations, and linens. The ceremony was held at her home Catholic church, while the reception was hosted at CJ’s Off the Square in Franklin, TN.

CJ’s Off the Square has a lovely little space for getting ready.

As this was a May wedding, we had lots of locally grown, Spring flowers to choose from for the design. Jaclyn’s bouquet includes peonies, garden roses, stock, delphinium, and anemone. And I have to say that with the roses and the peonies, it smelled incredible!

Bouquet includes white garden roses, peonies, anemone, stock, and blue delphinium.

CJ’s Off the Square is a great location for an intimate, garden reception. Their covered patio works even in the rain, but thankfully the weather cooperated for Jaclyn’s day. How much would you enjoy being a guest with this gorgeous garden backdrop?!?!

The garden backdrop at CJ’s is perfect for an intimate reception.

Centerpieces mimicked the bridal bouquet, but with the addition of white hydrangeas to enhance the size for the larger tables. Votive candles help to fill out the table design, as well as a simple place setting of an accent napkin and silverware.

Blue and white centerpieces include hydrangeas, garden roses, and delphinium.

Ultimately the blue flowers enhanced this design and was a reflection of Jaclyn’s personality. Like her wedding, she herself is timeless and classic, and that’s our goal – for each wedding to be a reflection of the couple that hosts it.

It’s always a joy to provide flowers at CJ’s Off the Square in Franklin, TN.

Here’s what Jaclyn had to say about working with Kelsey Gray Events:

“Kelsey did florals for our wedding and delivered my vision perfectly!! She is personable, knowledgable, and promptly responded to all of my questions leading up to the day. She was also realistic with what she was able to do with our budget which I greatly appreciated!”
