Many planners call this package “day-of” or “month-of” coordination, but it can be difficult for a planner to jump in at the last minute to run the show without sufficient prep work. My philosophy is that I’d rather prevent a problem than have to fix a problem later (although I will certainly jump in to fix any problems as they arise). With that in mind, we begin this package with an orientation session at the time of booking, typically 6-8 months before the wedding. During this session, we’ll talk about some tips and tricks for wedding planning and common pitfalls to avoid. You’ll handle the heavy-lifting of planning on your own, but I’ll always be available by email if needed. Then I’ll jump in about 30 days out to take over the final logistical details and be on site to run the wedding day.
Additional Services – as needed
- Assistants/labor – The planning packages include attendance of the wedding planner on event day. Sometimes additional staffing is needed for large events or extra labor and will come at an additional fee.
- Parking fees – If your venue does not include parking, there will be an additional charge to cover the cost of parking for site visits, rehearsal, and the wedding day.
- Add-on services – You may choose to add services such as planning of rehearsal dinner, day-after brunch, welcome party, etc.
